Hi everyone! I'm Chesa, the one woman show behind Opus Jewelry. My journey into jewelry making started many years ago when I sold handmade bracelets and necklaces at my lemonade stand as a kid. Over the years, craft store beads graduated to finer mediums but until recently, making high quality jewelry, like the rings and cuffs I've been collecting for so long, had only been a dream. In late 2016 and early 2017 I took classes at a local gallery and studio to learn the art of silversmithing and I continue to learn through practice, literature and the wonderful silversmithing community I've met this past year.

My designs are inspired by the many places I've lived and traveled, the experiences I've had while there, and the people I've met along the way. My artistic vision has evolved over the past five years in this craft and is heavily influenced by vintage styles, eclectic but timeless fashion, and my personal relationship with art in nature.

I put a lot of love, thought and hard work into every piece of jewelry I make. I use quality materials and source all of my stones from skilled lapidary artists. Every piece of jewelry I make is a piece of me and I hope you cherish them as much as I do.
